If it's Saturday, it must be syphilis.
All four were either syphilitic or reputed to be syphilitic. In the case of Beethoven, it's pretty iffy, since a fairly recent analysis of locks of his hair didn't show the elevated level of mercury that would be expected if he had been treated with mercury as as was normal in his time period. But it's still certainly not impossible.
